Mark 12:35-40 Final Answer
Jesus gives us his "final answer" in the form of a quesiton concerning who the messiah is. What is your final answer on who Jesus is today?
You Can't Stop God
Satan knows the end of the book as well as we do. He is desperate to do as much damage to God’s Kingdom as he can in the short amount of time he has left. We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged, but rather live each moment of our lives in the confidence that God will give us the victory over Satan and that His goodness will always triumph over the evils of this world.
Is Jesus the One or Should We Keep Looking For Another Person?
Have you professed faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but sometimes ask yourself if He is truly the One? Do not be discouraged by this, as even John the Baptist had the same doubt at one point (Luke 7:19). The Kindom Of Our Lord
The lesson we learn from Revelation 11 is to place our faith and our hope for the future not in the things of this world, but rather let us all put our faith and hope in those things that will further God’s kingdom and cause our names to be included with the Prophets, Saints and Those who fear the name of God.
Palm Sunday: The King and Crowds
Many times Jesus rejected the people's efforts to elevate him to a position of authority, but today we celebrate the first time he allowed them to call him "King"
Truth - Jesus in the Old Testament: The Prophets
Apologies for the audio quality here. The preacher's microphone was not switched on and so this was recorded remotely. Dave here gives an excellent overview of the Prophetic writings of the Bible, and highlights a number of significant images of the then anticipated arrival of the Messiah, Jesus.
Grace
While Jesus was on Earth, he attracted many followers with the promise of a simple set of rules and teachings. What drove people away was his claims to not only be the only way to God, but that he was God himself. You have a choice to make. Was he a liar and a crazy man, or was telling the truth? There is no middle ground.
