Sermons About Model
A Chosen Example
Everyone models their life after others. We are influenced in our what we say, do, think, etc. by people that we respect. Little Eyes Are Watching
This week we’re focusing on the sobering reality that the church of Jesus is really never more than one generation away from extinction. Of all that we try to pass along to our children, the passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ should be the top of our list... yet so often it doesn’t appear to be our number one priority. How about you? Little eyes are always watching. Do they see in you the Jesus you would want them to see? Key Passage: Deuteronomy 6:7-9

A Divine Community
These days, there is an appetite for spirituality and a huge distaste for "church." Is this really what God wanted? The church was intended to be a dynamic, life-giving movement of people who experience and extend the love of God together. In fact, Jesus said that you can't be spiritual on your own, that the spiritual life is something we do together. The Local Church: Congregationalism - Defending & Displaying the Glory of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
It is that way with a church? If a gaggle is nothing more than a group of geese, is a church really nothing more than a gathering of Christians? It doesn’t matter how they organize themselves. If you get enough Christians together in one place, isn’t that a church? Or, could it be that God has said something in his word about how Christians are to organize themselves as a local church?
