Blessed is the Nation...
In this week's message, we reflect on the values upon which the country of Canada was founded. And in light of current events in our country, we would do good to pause and think about how it is that we have strayed so far from our biblical foundations as a nation. But beyond the usual discussion about the issues facing our culture, may we be reminded of our primary responsibility as Christians: the call to fervent prayer. Going Multiethnic Is God's Idea
Going multiethnic stems from the mind of Christ. It is not optional--it is a mandate. In John 17 Jesus prays for the unity of those that were to become believers later on and desired that they be with Him in heaven to see His glory. Rev. 5 gives a glimpse of the makeup of this group--very multiethnic--every tribe and language and people and nation. At the beginning of civilization right after the flood, God intentionally confused language and scattered people all over the earth. The Great commission in Matthew 28 instructs us to make disciples of all nations. God gets more glory from the unity of believers the more diverse and multiethnic they are. He is a God that scatters and a God that gathers.

It's Africa's Hour
Floyd unburdens his heart to South Africans and those called to work in South Africa to seize the opportunity to help build the new South Africa. Speaking from Psalm 78, verse 9, "...they turned back in the day of battle" he reminds South Africans that they have a destiny to be pioneers, adventurers, and explorers, and encourages those who are willing to give themselves to God's purposes for healing and transforming South Africa. A deeply challenging message to not live in fear but faith for South Africa's future as a nation.
