Confessions of a Worrier
In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus addresses the concept of worry. We worry when we face times of uncertainty. Worry is misplaced devotion. To counteract this, we need to shift our devotion. A good tool to use is the worry filter --- ask 2 questions. Have I done all that I can do? Am I willing to trust God to do what only He can do?

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
Jesus teaches us to pray as a sign of our recognition that we are not self-sufficient. The things that we have ultimately come from God as blessings to us to provide for us during our life on this earth. The sooner we realize our dependence on God, the sooner we turn to God in prayer for his provision. When we pray for God to give us our daily bread, we are honoring God as the source of all things and we are trusting his provision as we follow his word.
