Joel and the outpouring of the Spirit
The events described in Acts 2 are foretold in by Joel as a 'day of the Lord'; that would mark a New Convenant between God and His people; a new age when Jesus, the Great High Priest, has replaced the earthly priests, interceding directly with God on our behalf. This day marks the beginning of the 'Last Days', which will conclude with the greater 'Day of the Lord' the Judgement Day. How should we respond to this? Now we're in the Last Days, we don't know when they will end, so we need to be ready. What about family, friends or colleagues? They cannot know how to respond unless we tell them.
