Sermons About New-life
Easter 2009

Soaring
The "Soaring" ride at Disney's Epcot takes riders on an exhilarating flight simulation over mountains, forests, and oceans. On Easter Sunday, we soar in spirit as Jesus rises in triumph over sin, death, and hell. Despite the overwhelming problems facing our world at present, because of what Jesus has done, we are not helpless victims caught in an endless downward spiral in life. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we are more than conquerors. Through Jesus, we can soar in the midst of life's problems, and find our joy in his victory.

Are you ready to die? What do we need to do to prepare for our own death? This message speaks of dying to this life to live for Christ. After Lazarus was raised from the dead, what was life like for him afterward? How are we to live after we die to this life and live for Christ?

I AM
Jesus made some major claims regarding who he was. The question is...could he back up those claims. Jesus made seven different "I AM" statements about himself. He said he was the bread of life, the light of the world, the Way, the Truth and the Life...He also said, " I am the Resurrection and the Life" In the Gospel of John chapter 11, Jesus makes this amazing claim and then backs up His claim with powerful action.
