His story...my story...
"Mission is not primarily an activity of the church but an attribute of God. God is a missionary God. It is not the church that has a mission of salvation to fulfill in the world; it is the mission of the Son and the Spirit through the Father that includes the church."(Source: Wikipedia) Evangelism is a key issue that we need to talk about as individuals and as a church family. When you conisder the pendulum of "preaching the story" vs. "living the story", where do you think most of us fall? Key Passage: 1 Corinthians1:21

The Harvest is Plentiful and the workers are few
The Harvest is Plentiful and the workers are few. There are people all over the world that are dying in their sin and they are waiting to hear the good news. How can they hear if they are not told? When conversations do take a spiritual turn, it is critical to know how to convey two stories with humility, clarity, and brevity: your own faith story, and God’s Good News story.

Witness Life
What's the latest news? When Jesus appeared to the men on their way to Emmaus, thinking him a stranger, they shared with him the news of Jesus. It wasn't until they invited him to eat with them and be the host at their table that it was revealed that the stranger was actually the risen Jesus. It's past time that we share the news about Jesus with others as witnesses to the life we have in Christ.
