Worldview Super Conference 3: Why Go?
Introduction BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, American Vision is pleased to announce our third Worldview Super Conference to be held July 22–25, 2009, in Powder Springs, Georgia. This year’s theme is The Great Reversal: How Christians Will Change the Future. This unique event will equip you in gaining a biblical understanding of media, economics, politics, education, and science. More importantly, it will show you how Christians can use new media (Internet, Print-on-Demand, Forums, In-Home Broadcasting, Pod-casting, etc.) to make an “end-run” around the liberal stronghold to advance the Gospel and a Christian Worldview. A Great Reversal is coming. Are you ready to be a part of it?

Pirate of the Carolinas
Edward Teach, known as “Blackbeard†the pirate, prowled the waters off the southeastern coast of the American colonies in the early 1700s. He was a menacing figure with long, dark hair twisted into pigtails and a beard that covered his face. Teach appeared surrounded in smoke from the slow burning hemp he wore under his hat. Wearing multiple pistols, knives and a cutlass, his frightening image often caused enemies to surrender at the sight of him.

Green
God’s command to fill the earth and subdue it was intended not only as a provision, but also as a responsibility. It is the church with its God mandated commission to be stewards of creation that should be leading the “green†discussion. Unfortunately the church has allowed the world to take control of the agenda of the discussion. Much of the agenda of the “green†movement has elevated those things created on days one through five to a higher value than those created on day six. It is here that Christians need to reassume their rightful place in the discussion, take seriously the charge that we are to be stewards of the environment, with the understanding that while all of creation was declared good by God, only one part was created in his image, and that was man.
