Sermons About Obedience
You Will Be My People and I Will Be Your God
One of God’s main attributes is that God is a giver. What being transformed by God into the image of Christ looks like is slowly – but surely – becoming obedient givers, obedient lovers, obedient servants. God wants us to give because it’s good for us, because it is transformative when we place everything in our life on the altar – everything under the Lordship of Christ – we become more like God.

Grace and Obedience
Everyone is serving something, but the Gospel is the invitation to trust and obey One who is loving and trustworthy. Obedience flows from whatever our heart has placed it's trust in.

Christian's Witness to the World, Pt. 2 (Matthew 5:14-16)
Christians are left in this world for one primary purpose: to be witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ. (possibly note challenge of bad witnesses) Last week we noted the Christian’s witnesses as salt - witness through the character and purity of life. This is week the Lord compares the church to light, which reveals by dispelling darkness. Christian are commended to the obedience and proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Revival Means To Return
This sermon takes a look at the life of Jonah and compares it to the lives of most Christians today. We see that Jonah was disobedient to God; we see his disobedience caused chastisement, and that chastisement eventually led to a revival in Jonah, a return to God. Then we see the results of obedience when Jonah did what God commanded and a whole great city was saved. We likewise have been called by God to go, but most Christians just like Jonah are disobedient. What if just a few of us got real and followed God's command to Go Tell Every Creature? How many cities could we win to Christ? How many people could we save from Judgment?
