God knows our needs and promises to provide "according to His glorious riches" - but He also asks for our faith and trust in these times. He is working out His perfect plan. Peter's Conversion
God's plan throughout history has been to reconcile ALL peoples to back to Him. Peter had been taught from an early age that it was a sin to even enter into the home of a Gentile, so the events of this chapter baffled him. Even so, he had to decide whether or not he would say Yes to God, even though it went against everything he knew.

A beautiful and blessed life is a life of obedience. If we believe the big thing, that God has paid for our sin on the cross, then we can also believe that he knows how to tells to live. All our boasting and arrogance in going our own way makes God laugh.
