Last Sunday we talked about 3DF – Three Dimensional Fellowship! God longs to see His children experience 3DF, a three way deep meaningful connection between you, others, and God! But there are many potential obstacles. Our passage today helps us understand how to build 3DF.

We must overcome fear with faith! When you are looking for a solution to a problem, there are going to be obstacles, but you have choices.

The best way to begin to attack this text for our understanding and application is to consider the final phrase first. Here it is: “So that you won’t grow weary and lose heart.” Some days are like that aren’t they? In this world so filled with pain, misery, and difficulty, you might just want to say “Forget it.” I’m done with the church. I’m done with Jesus. Too many problems. Too many heartaches. Too much bad news. Too many people complaining about stuff that really isn’t important. The boss is not happy. The wife is not happy. And, I’m not happy. You are weary and are on the verge of losing heart.
God often takes us to a place of human impossibilities so that he can work in powerful ways and get the glory. When God moves, he wants us to turn those impossible challenges and obstacles into memorable monuments to his power.
