A Spirit-Filled Family
The purpose of this sermon is to teach children and parents principles of living in the Christian home. The Spirit must control us. Parents must be submissive to the needs of their children and children must be submissive to the authority of their parents.

Soul Prosperity
We need to live in God’s righteousness, peace and joy on the inside all the time, not just cry out to God for it when we are in a crisis. Our soul is prospering when we are walking in step with Holy Spirit.

Reclaiming the Vital Message of Moms & Dads
Since the early 1960’s, America’s counter-cultural movement has brought about many changes for which we can all be thankful. We can be thankful that we now live in a society that is more equitable for women and minorities. We can be thankful that as a country we are now more aware and active in environmental conservation. We can be thankful that through this movement, American’s live with greater global awareness on issues of compassion and justice. But, as in all movements, there’s been a price to pay for this change and no where is this price more evident than in our collective understanding in ‘parenting’. As research indicates that mothers and fathers feel more confused and unequipped than ever before, it’s our children and our country that are paying the price. Something must be done. We must rediscover and reclaim our message as mothers and fathers.

The heart of fathers and mothers
I'm sure we all love our children deeply. I love my children as my own soul, but I do not always parent them from my heart. I sometimes fail to exercise my own heart - exercise in the sense of a spiritual sweat and a pounding heart. I often fail to really engage their hearts. Parenting is all about seeking a meeting of hearts. We are aiming for parenting that is from heart to heart.
