You’re In Charge - NOW WHAT? Paul and the Elders at Ephesus
What would you do if all of the sudden, you were in charge of the church? Many of us have complained about what the church is doing or isn’t doing. But what if you were at the helm. What would you do? Today in the Word we come to Acts 20. Near the end of Paul’s third missionary journey, he meets the elders of Ephesus one last time and says that they are in charge. Now what?

When There's Nothing You Can Do
Sometimes we find ourselves in a jam. Between a rock and a hard place. In a lose/lose situation. Young Timothy was in such a situation. Paul instructs timothy on what to do when there's nothing you can do?

We Study to Assist the Working of God - Part 1
Please note this is a two part sermon... Paul brought a great deal of comfort to the Christians in Thessalonica with this letter. Yet one way in which comfort was brought to the Thessalonians (their lives proved it, as did their suffering) should startle us in America. We don't suffer for being Christians here (outside of extremely isolated instances). What has the church throughout the history of the world endured? What do many endure today? We ignore the plight of our brothers and sisters in Christ to the detriment of the Kingdom.

Sacred Joy: Philippians 1.1-6; Acts 16.6-40
What is your view of the gospel? Is it big and glorious as the Apostle Paul’s view of it was? Or is it a little gospel? Have you domesticated it, compartmentalized it, boxed it in, because how dare you over do it or be seen as super spiritual or as some say ‘religious’? This week you will see that this is no little gospel, instead it is glorious and so much so that the soul rejoices over it again and again. This week we begin our new series on Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi with looking at this all glorious and joy causing gospel.

Romans 7:7-13 Our Sin and the Law
This week we are going to learn that the law opens our eyes to our sins, but the law is good and just and holy. Last week Paul used the analogy that before a person is saved he is married to sin, that is married to Satan. But, once we are born again and our sin has died with Jesus upon the cross we are set free from our marriage to sin and to Satan and we are free to marry another, which is Jesus Christ. Earlier, in Romans Paul taught that we are in bondage, that before being saved we are in bondage and a slave to Satan and that once we are saved, we are still in bondage, but now we are in bondage to a much better master; Jesus Christ.
