Fight for the Persecuted & Hurting
While we are pursuing out calling and purpose, it's important that we do not lost sight of people in our lives who are hurting, mocked, picked on and outright persecuted. As followers of God, we are called to fight for those in need. Check out what Nehemiah did for the persecuted in his day and apply his wisdom to your life today.

You Be the Judge...What is Right?
Darcie will be speaking in the services and at Common Grounds today. Her topic: “You be the judge…. What is right?â€Â Acts 3–6. Darcie has been “serving our persecuted family with hope†as a mission representative through her work at VOM for over 9 years. She has traveled extensively, sometimes with her husband Tim, throughout the eastern region of the U.S. sharing the challenging yet encouraging message of the persecuted church. Darcie has traveled to Sudan, China, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Cuba, Myanmar, Laos, Kashmir, India, Korea and Columbia to bring help, encouragement and assistance to our family living there. She tenderly yet powerfully shares the challenging and inspiring stories and testimonies of our family in these nations. Through God’s word, she shares what this should mean to us. Although we refer to these believers as the suffering or persecuted church, Darcie communicates the rest of the story. God is at work for His eternal purposes in the lives of our brothers and sisters in these most difficult situations.

The Persecuted Church
Pastor Matt Adair delivers a compelling and thought provoking message regarding the role of the persecuted church. Just as Paul, persecuted and imprisoned, was able to write words of wisdom and encouragement to the church of Phillipi, so too do the present day martyrs show us the value (even at the cost of our own lives, freedom, and finances) of pursuing after Jesus Christ.
