Relentless Determination
After Jesus struggled in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was determined to go all the way—to die for your sin on Calvary. In John chapter 18, there are groups and individuals, each one with their own agenda, with the potential to hinder Jesus from accomplishing his mission: the Roman army, a religious delegation, Judas, Peter, and John. But God, in his sovereign power and relentless determination, carried out his plan to offer his son as your sacrifice in spite of the failures of these groups and individuals. Today, he is as determined to keep you as his child in spite of your own failures.

Naked Grace, Dressed Works
We’re learning that if we think we’re full without Him we’re actually starving. If we think we can see without Him we’re actually blind. If we think we are quenched without Him we’re actually thirsty. If we’ think we’re alive without Him we’re actually dead. And this week we’ll come to see that if we think we have peace without Him we’re actually condemned.

He desires for all to be restored to a relationship with God. Jesus is willing to bear the burden of restoration. He is on a mission to restore that which is lost, that it would found!

Continuing in his parables as Jesus addresses the religious scholars and theologians in the Church of God centered at the Temple in Jerusalem. Would Jesus speak in the same manner to the religious scholars and theologians in God's Church today?
