Sex: God, Gross, or Gift?
The 1st 15min did not get recorded below are the notes: 1 Corinthians 6:9-20 v.9-11 Paul describes those whose lives are dominated & idetified by sin. In this list of sins he connects the sin of idolatry in a way that shows all other sin in our life proceeds from it! That which we hold in highest esteem and devote our time and energy to is an idol(s). Human heart is an ‘idol factory’ capable of turning anything good into idolatry! Idolatry is primal/root of all other sin! People don’t have a sexual immorality problems, homosexuality, they ultimately have Idolatry problems! For ex. couples living & sleeping together, who say, “we love each other, we care about each other, we’re probably going to get married. We’re not hurting anyone” What is the problem?” Answer: “You’re an idolater.” You are worshiping a false god. Your problem goes deeper than sex. It goes all the way down to worship. If your sleeping with your boyfriend, you have chosen him over Jesus! You are declaring who the most important man in your life is & you have turned your back on Jesus to pursue… When the two of you are together, it’s not to the glory of God. That means that your bed is a pagan altar, and your boyfriend is a pagan priest, & your body is a living sacrifice. It’s idolatry, which is the worship of someone or something other than the God of the Bible. 1 Corinthians 10:7 “Do not be Idolaters.” We tend to think of idolatry as, “poor pagan people who set up statues, & then they give money to it & it’s right in the middle of their home, & it’s on the mantle, & it dominates their life, & sit around & look at.” If they walked into our homes, and saw porn on the TV/computer, “They wouldn’t be able to find the difference. Pornography is not the issue, the issue is Idolatry! Our idol plugs in.

Whatever Is Pure: Starting a New Sexual Revolution
Pastor Gary Combs continues the "War of the Worldviews" series with this message from 1 Corinthians 6 entitled: Whatever Is Pure: Starting a New Sexual Revolution. This message offers a counter to our over-sexualized culture that we are more than our appetites, that we are to be identified by our faith and our purity for God. This message addresses the issues of living together without marriage, pornography, homosexuality and other sexual sin areas that the modern world is attempting to normalize.
Purity in Relationships
Purity in Christian Relationships:
Holiness: The Trajectory of Grace
Holiness is not a condition or set of behaviors that God demands of us. It is the work of grace in our lives that brings joy, hope, protection, humility and service. Hear how authentic grace-based holiness protects and frees the work of God in your life. Learn how "Younger Brother Holiness" erodes holiness to make it achievable and how "Older Brother Holiness" hardens our heart and separates from our Father and others.
It's a Heart Thing
At the heart of prayer is relationship. This is both wonderful and difficult. It is wonderful because we were made for relationships. It is difficult because the models we have for relationships in our culture are exceedingly poor. Fortunately for us, God is in the heart-shaping business. So, how does our heart factor into our prayer life?
