The story of Job show the life of a human being who pleased God and was considered to be prefect in his generation. As we examine the story we regularly find fault but we need to remember that Job is a fore-running type of Christ and the level of suffering that he endured is only a shadow of the suffering that Jesus subsequently endured.

For us to change to the image of Jesus Christ, we have to use biblical methods to deal with our wicked heart. This means that we must first sweep all other secular or misguided spiritual methods off the table. True life change is only possible in a partnership with Jesus Christ and must begin with a rejection of all faulty, self-centered change methods.
