Sermons About Preaching
Say Whatever You Want
So far in our series we’ve seen that “God resists the proud but gives grace the humble” (1 Peter 5:5), that “the anger of man doesn’t work the righteousness of God” (James 1:20), and that we should resolve conflict quickly or we will give the devil an opportunity (Eph 4:27). Today we take up the subject of how we talk, and I really hope to help you prayerfully think through the impact of words upon your relationships. Words after all don’t have to wound; they can bless, encourage, and heal. The tongue is a powerful tool of good and evil. It can be a restless evil or a reservoir of encouragement.

A Vision for the Order of Service at Kaleo El Cajon
Have you ever gone to a church service and wondered why it flowed the way it did? As we begin our services in El Cajon, we want to take some time and explain exactly why we are doing what we are doing. We will answer questions like: "Why do we take communion every week? Why do we preach the way we do? What is the purpose of the benediction? Why do we take an offering? Why do we sing the kind of songs we sing?" and many similar questions.

What Does God Want of Me?
In this courtroom scene in Micah 6, God accuses His people of fake worship and only sacrificing so they could live as they pleased. After the people argue with God about their behavior, God lists three requirements for truly pleasing Him. This sermon helps us remember how God wants us to live.
