Sermons About Priorities
How Deep Will You Go?
How to deal with situations when we need to cry out to God. Are situations and problems de-railing my true purpose? What is the worst thing that can happen? Where is Jesus working and what is he saying? What are God's kingdom priorities in the situation? How can the life of Jesus and His presence be revealed in this situation? We must move beyond surface troubles and situations and dig deeper to a pursuit of God. Psalms 130:1-8

Power also has great spiritual value, so money and wealth can be used for great good or for evil. This is one of the most "in your face" scriptures in the New Testament about the consequences of wrong priorities.

Paul connects idolatry and sin in a way that shows the sin in our life proceeds from our idols. That which we hold in highest esteem and devote our time and energy to is our idol(s). The human heart is an 'idol factory' capable of turning anything good (children, important work, sex, etc...) into idolatry.
