Sermons About Problem
Becoming a Person of Burden
Throughout October and November we will be studying the book of Nehemiah in a series called "Nehemiah: Becoming a Person of ______." This series will look at different characteristics exemplified by Nehemiah as he rebuilt Jerusalem's walls following the Israelites' Babylonian Exile. This week Dave Robinson teaches about becoming a person of burden. Before Nehemiah acted, he allowed God to burden him with a need: the destroyed walls and burned gates of Jerusalem. Studying Nehemiah's example, Dave asks: "what makes you weep and pound the table?" or, "what burden or problem is yours to help solve?"
