Anxiety: Symptom of a Bigger Problem
Anxiety is a sign that there is a bigger problem in our hearts- unbelief. It reveals areas where we are not trusting in our heavenly Father, but have instead trusted in earthly treasures. Jesus offers the cure for our anxiety.

God provides a godly husband for Ruth, and a kinsman-redeemer for Naomi. But we find that God was at work to do something even greater for His people. He was already at work to provide the as of yet not asked for king to unite, protect & revive His people: David. And He was at work to provide Jesus- the Redeemer.

God works through the prayers of His flawed people to accomplish His purposes. These purposes call us to faith which requires that we take risks. But God does infinitely more than we could ever ask or imagine.

With a Mighty Hand and Outstretched Arm (Exodus 13:17 - 15:21)
God set his love on an undeserving people and delivered them out of slavery by his mighty power, for his glory, and for their good. This points ahead to our own experience of salvation in Jesus. We ought to consider our own deliverance out of sin with great gratitude and rejoicing.
