Jesus for President
Jesus for President? It almost sounds funny to put those words in the same sentence. In our day when we are so very careful to keep religion and politics separate, it may be difficult to face the reality that the Revelation is a strikingly political book of insubordination against an anti-Christian "empire". While John uses "veiled" language to build his case, it is clear that the ruling empire of the day (Rome) was being implicated as an instrument of Satan! Wow! Can you imagine the pressure we would face if we stood against the state with such vitriolic words? But remember - John was a prisoner of the state! And he wasn't there for towing the party line! He was there because the reigning powers of the day saw danger in the eyes of this little old man! What does the world see when they look in your eyes or mine? Perhaps it's no coincidence that we are talking politics in an election week! Revelation 12-15 is our text - hold on for the ride!

One hundred years later, on July 20, 1969, two Americans landed on the moon. While railroads transformed commerce, communication, and travel in the United States, Moon landings abruptly stopped with no commercial benefits after six missions. Bill Kaysing thinks he knows why.
