Sermons About Reach
Reach
There are a host of people who stay home on Sunday mornings, not because they're any less deserving of God's grace, not because God loves them any less, but because they are waiting to see if what the church gathers to do during morning services will actually make a difference in the way the y live their lives.

Kneel
One of the best ways to learn about worship is to observe the way that God's people worshipped throughout Scripture. The people of Israel worshipped God in songs and in shouts, but they also fell to their knees at times to give God glory. Worship elevates our limited point of view by acknowledging God's limitless perspective.

I want more!
We've come full-circle in our discussion. I don't think you can prioritize the order of importance of evangelism, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service; they all happen to some degree simultaneously. However, there are two ends to this journey. God calls us "out" of the world and back to Himself. The word "ecclesia" literally means the "called out ones." At the other end of the spectrum, we have the missional and sending heart of the Father that pushes us back out into the world. As He sent Jesus - He sends us! What a privilege to live "on mission" with and for God Himself! That's a calling worth stepping in to! Key Passage: Micah 6:8

Life After the Storm
If we are going to reach out with the love of Jesus to the community around us we will not be able to avoid the topic of divorce. All of us have been affected either directly or indirectly by the breakdown of the family, and we desperately need to understand HOW to respond to a broken, hurting world. Unfortunately, a marriage failure often brings a "double whammy" in that there is first the very real pain of the breakup, and secondly, an equally great pain that the church does not know how to respond. May God give us grace to learn. Key Passage: Psalm 34:18
