People attend Easter services for a variety of reasons. For some it's tradition, for others it's an opportunity to reconnect with God, but for some it's a desperate need to find solutions to their problems. Unfortunately, the church doesn't offer the kind of solutions that most of them seek. What it does offer, however, is enough to change everything—a right understanding of reality and a deeper fellowship than most people have ever known. Mt 4:18-22; Mt 26:17ff; Acts 4:5-13

We live in what philosophers call a 'hyper real' society where truth is embellished and we end up chasing after ideals that are simply not true and are unattainable. It's a "I will only be happy when..." culture. In Galatians 3 Paul is addressing a group of Christians that have wandered away from The Truth. The gospel had been 'embellished' by some false teachers and the Galatians had been 'bewitched' into believing it. They had started well and were ending badly, using their own power to see change in their lives. Do WE chase after the truth of the gospel or the hyper real image of Christianity we are presented with everyday?
