As you can see in this verse, the prophet Hosea uses the analogy of sowing and reaping. He is saying that, if the Israelites want to reap God's blessings for themselves, they must plant the right kind of seeds in their lives--godly seeds. Using the ideas of farming found in our Bible text, let's consider three actions we can take to reap a bountiful harvest of good things from God.

You will spend about 150,000 hours of your life on earth at work, that's 40 to 60 percent of your waking hours. We should not be surprised then that God has so much to say about this dominating arena of life on planet earth. Here we will look at how the sowing and reaping principle applies to life on the job...in fact, life before the job and life after it, too. Come, walk in the light of the Lord.
