The biblical account of the children of Israel at the Red Sea crossing stands out as one of the most significant miracles in Israel's history. It was an amazing display of the power of God to protect and direct His people in the midst of a fiery trial. All of us face trying circumstances with various levels of difficulty. We need the protection, direction and intervention of God just like the nation of Israel. This message provides encouraging truths to guide us through those times of difficulty.
The exodus shows us that the faith of a few impacts the many.

Keep your eye on the cross and on the word of God. The world wants us to focus on anything but God. The world wants us to feel trapped, to feel that God doesn't really care about us. When the children of Israel were trapped up against the Red sea, they took their eyes off God and were in despair. Moses told them, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord." Keep your eye on God.
The Crossing explores the exodus of the Israelites and looks at what God had in mind for them as their "BIg Picture" as He tells them to "turn back and camp" by the Rea Sea.
The Crossing of the Red Sea is more than a childhood story. It's more than a miraculous story of God's provision. The implications run much deeper for anyone who claims to be saved. This story is a paradigm of salvation itself, complete with a mediator, and a Way from death to life. Are we saved? Have we changed? And are we small enough?
