Partying that Provokes
The reason we struggle so mightily with joy and celebration is because we have forgotten. We have forgotten what God is like. We have forgotten how good He is. We have forgotten how merciful He is. We have forgotten how He’s rescued us. We have forgotten that He is a God of great joy. We have forgotten that He loves to be with us. We have forgotten that we are grafted into this family: we are children of Abraham because we believe in Christ and we are to pick up His same heart of celebration and rejoicing.

Sacred Calling Part 3: Isaiah 52.1-7
What is sacred? We learned a few weeks ago that the church is sacred. It is God’s holy people. God’s sacred people also have a sacred calling. Today we will look at what Paul says in the book of Galatians as he addresses the terror of that which brings divine curse and the comfort of that which brings one under divine blessing.

What Do I Have to be Thankful For?
We all know we need to be thankful. And we know we have reasons to be thankful. But we often get into unthankful attitudes, because we forget why we would be so thankful. We need reminders about the grace of God. In Colossians 1 Paul gives us three reminders about why we should be thankful.
