Psalm 2 brings great comfort in the person of God's Son, whom we are privileged to know, serve, and proclaim.

The God of All Comfort
We serve the God of all comfort. There are many of us today, that know what it means to suffer. God will never leave us or forsake us. He is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Even when we are the bottom God will not leave us or forsake us. If we are looking for it we will see him working. The God of all comfort has saved us through the cross. He has provided a place of refuge that we could not earn or ask for. Have you trusted our God of all Comfort?

Real Life in the Church
God directs some to lead His church. Strong, Bible-based elders are vital as the church goes about building God's kingdom. God directs all people in His church to a lifestyle of humility. We all should have a servant's attitude - ready to serve others. God provide the avenue to the stress reducer and is the only one who can heal broken hearts and deliver those in danger. God gives His church the recipe for real life enjoyment. Through the authority of Jesus Christ we have refuge from the attacks of Satan.

Background to Psalm 46 - Hezakiah's prayer when facing the Assyrians (2 Kings 18 - 19). God is our refuge and strength. The Lord of Hosts, Jehovah Shabboath, God reigns over all. Come and See. Be still and know that I am God. I don't look after myself, God looks after me.
