Highway to Heaven is covered with the potholes of the world. Today we want to look at the familiar message of what the world says and we want to look at What Jesus said about our journey to God. To do this I want to look at two conversations Jesus had, one with a prominent religious leader and another with his disciples.

Often
There is a kind of life that God designed for us and Jesus modeled for us and yet few people live. This kind of life is a life in which you are linked to God in deep relationship. This was your legacy as those created in the image and likeness of God. It is a legacy lost through man's fall into sin and regained through the victory Christ won for us on the cross when he paid for our sins and rose again from the dead.

Unanswered Prayer may have many reasons, at times the prayers are not unanswered, but the answer is either "no" or not yet answered because we are not ready and he is saying slow. At other times God wants us to grow beyond where we are.

God wants us to have a relationship with Him. To follow Jesus is to be in constant dialogue with God because that's how we get to know Him and as we do, He can do his work and bring His blessings in our lives.

God knows us better than we know ourself, he know our past, our present and a future. Are we willing to ask God to search our hearts, be stretched in our faith, follow Gods direction.

Prayer: How to Pray Authentically
Authentic, genuine prayer lifted up to God in contrast with unauthentic , ostentatious prayer said to impress people, rather than lifted up to God. Authentic prayer is an overflow of an authentic relationship with God the Father through a faith in God the Son, brought about by the life giving work of the Holy Spirit.
