No Other Gospel
There is (another) crisis over the gospel. It is not a matter of semantics, but one that revolves around whether or not we are united with Christ and recipients of grace. Paul here reveals some of the basic elements of the gospel while warning the Galatian churches they are in danger of severing themselves from Christ through this false teaching.

Galatians 1.1-5: The Gospel of Grace and Peace
Paul tells us in Galatians 5.1, It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery As Paul writes to the Galatians there is something important at stake. It is freedom. True freedom was being attacked in his day and it is being attacked in our day as well. We must lift up Jesus, who is the freedom giver. The cross of Christ is the only way one can experience true freedom and the Spirit of Christ is the only way one can live out God's aim and mission. Over the next few months we will look at God's desire of freedom through the book of Galatians. We will see what God has done to make freedom possible, we will see the message of freedom and see how one who is truly free lives. Our prayer is that nothing would hold you back from living out God's aim and mission. Our prayer is that you would be free and therefore live a life of freedom.

The Lord is My Rock and My Fortress
We like to think of ourselves as self-reliant and capable of protecting ourselves. We arrange our careers, finances, relationships, and technology to this end, but eventually we get to a place where all of the money, status, medicine, and relationships cannot save us and the condition of our life is out of our hands. David wrote Psalm 18 after God brought him through a life and death situation where he was entirely dependent on God’s protection. David called out to God for help and God saved him, so David wrote this song to honor the Lord, his rock and fortress.

Unexpected Hope
Jesus died as our substitute because of the Severity of Sin and the Holy Love of God. But what did that death accomplish? What significance does Jesus' death have for us today? This is what we explore on Easter Sunday as we consider Jesus' redemption of mankind.
