Narnia...Prince Caspian and His Greatest Strength
Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the throne in the world of Narnia, is sabotaged by his evil Uncle, Miraz. In addition, the young Prince discovers that his father, King Caspian, was murdered by his Uncle. With feelings of revenge, anger, and bitterness, Prince Caspian seeks to avenge the death of his father by killing his uncle. Finally, with sword in hand and his uncle brought to his knees, the perfect opportunity is afforded him. Instead, he chooses not to take the life of his Uncle and, in doing so, overcomes evil with good, something from which all of us can greatly learn and pattern our lives after!

A Prison of Our Own Making
Anger is our body's God given response to perceived threats. God placed it there to alert us to a potential problem and to give us the energy to deal with that problem. The problem is that we sometimes vent our anger on innocent bystanders, or internalize it so that it consumes our thoughts. When this happens, we are in a prison of our own making. The desire for retaliation and revenge is built in to every person because of sin. It started in the Garden of Eden, where Adam tried to get revenge against Eve by blaming her. And it escalated when Cain retaliated against Abel by murder. But God has a different plan for those who will be a living sacrifice. God says, "You be loving and let me handle the outcome."
