Sermons About Revival
The Raising of Lazarus
Perhaps the greatest miracle that Jesus performed is only recorded in John's gospel, yet, there is much we can learn from the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was dead, was raised, was bound, then loosed, and then feasted with Jesus. He also became a powerful soul-winner. Christians need to quit acting like they are dead in sins and need to shake off the old grave clothes of their former life.

Jesus, the Man of Compassion
How could a thinking Christian believe that we are successfully getting the job done in soulwinning? Whether local or global evangelism, we are failing, and we are failing because we are missing the ingredient of compassion. This message reminds us of four things that Jesus saw when he looked at people. As you go through your day passing people all the time, what do you see -- just people, or lost souls on their way to Hell?

You Belong to God
For Christians to experience true revival, they must realize that they belong to God. God has ownership of us in three ways. Understanding this truth will lead to a person giving their life totally to God. This principle will change your life forever. This is Dr. Ron Comfort's first message in Grace Baptist Church's 2009 Revival.

Getting In God's Way
Understanding the Way of God. If we had our choice, the way that God does things in not necessarily the way that we would do things. You may have caught yourself saying something like: "God, if I had my way .... I would do this." But it is not alwayts our way. In Isaiah God says: "My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts because my ways and My thoughts are higher than your ways and thoughts." Tonight we will look at Getting In God's Way.

You Can Still Finish Strong
There are a lot of people not finishing well today. As the Apostle Paul, they have it run the race well, but they are not finishing strong. In fact, if you start at the beginning of the Bible and trace it through, you will find more people that have not finished well than have finished well. Ther have been more people that have messed up at the end of their lives than have finished well.

Eternity Is Too Long To be Wrong
We need to realize how many people are without the Gospel. I believe at times we get stuck in our own little circle and we do not realize how many people die and go to hell every day and never once have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is a Judgment Day coming. There is one day coming when every person who has ever walked or is walking the face of this earth will stand in judgment in front of God Almighty.

God's Expectations of Prayer
I want you to notice a key phrase in Matthew 6:5-7: V. 5 - "and when thou prayest" V. 6 - "But thou, when thou prayest" and V.7 - "But when you pray." Why preach on prayer? I believe that we have the greatest weapon of warfare that anybody can come up with today and it is not a nuclear bomb, our White House, congress or anything else. It is the matter and mode of prayer.More has been accomplished by men on their knees than it has by men in the ballet box. Prayer is the greatest weapon Christians have today

Living For Today
Living For Today - A lot people are not living for today they are living for twenty years from now. That's what it feels like with your retirement plan or going to work everyday. Every day you work so you can take a break thirty years from now. Most people find that when they finally reach that point of retirement, they are busier than they ever were before. There seems to be, especially today, so much of an emphais placed on living for the future that we forget to live for today. We fail tyo realize that today could be the last day we have on this earth.

Hearts On Fire For God
What is a burning heart? Luke gives us a story that is not found in any other Gospel – the disciples on the Emmaus Road. It was the afternoon of Resurrection Sunday. These disciples were on their way to the small town of Emmaus which was about seven miles west of Jerusalem. It was after the regular Sabbath – following Jesus’ death – and they were discussing the momentous events of recent days. Luke 24:32 – “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”
