Sermons about Risk
Our Sabbath time is an opportunity to be renewed and get closer to Christ. Like Peter, you are invited to "Come" take the risk and venture out into new places with Christ.

Irony, it is all around us. In light of this reality, how can a song from the 1960's, Deadman's Curve, be helpful for those seeking to follow Jesus today in 2013? Or those seeking to follow Jesus in 2113? Or those seeking Jesus in any generation? Deadman's Curve & the Lenten Season...they have more in common than you may think. Listen along, complete with the song "Deadman's Curve," and ask the Spirit how it applies to your life. Larry Hayes is an elder of New Life Christian Church.

In chapter 1 verses 8-18, he challenges us to align our life purpose with the gospel and the mission of god. He reminds us that when our life purposes align with Jesus' mission, we risk suffering and loss but we gain what matters most.
