Learn from Me, for I Am - Continued
Palm Sunday message about the meekness of Christ. Meekness is the disposition that strips away everything in your life that stands between Gods purpose and the world around you, through you. And what are those things that corrupt the simplicity in Christ. Your rights and your possessions. Thats one reason why there are so many Christians who are satisfied to marvel at Jesus from afar, but unwilling to truly follow Him. It’s a trust issue

The Lord of the Sabbath
As the Lord of the Sabbath (Luke 6:5), Jesus challenged the scribes and Pharisees to rethink their understanding of Sabbath work regulations. His priorities should be ours when we consider New Testament truth. For example, is the Christian Sunday properly regulated by a modern version of Old Testament Sabbath requirements? What would the Lord of the Sabbath say?

Genesis 1:1-2:3 Creation: From Chaos to Calm
The creation account in Genesis 1 is one of the most controversial and disputed texts in all of scripture. Far too often, the text is misused and misunderstood because the context is lost. The focus of Genesis is not really the creation event but the Creator of creation and the family and land that He created.

Lord of the Sabbath
The conflict between Jesus and the religious leaders continues to escalate and comes to a head here in a controversy over the Sabbath. The religious leaders had added 39 separate categories of rules to the simple command to "keep the Sabbath holy," thereby making the Sabbath rest a burden! In the gospel, Jesus removes the burden of the Sabbath, restores the purpose of the Sabbath, and declares himself the lord of the Sabbath. True, deep, lasting rest is only found in Jesus.
