The Lord Will Provide Part 3
No other story in Genesis (or in the Old Testament) compares with this text in its haunting beauty or its theological depth. It is a profoundly shocking story that has challenged students of God’s Word and at the same time inspired them with it’s powerful impact. While our minds revolt against the command of God to Abraham to offer up his promised son, Isaac, in sacrifice, we are at the same time moved by the depth and tenderness of God’s relationship with Abraham in making the request.

Conquering Lamb
Today we're in Revelation 5 and looking at the conquering king of kings! The upside-down application, however, will give your head a spin. Instead of seeing the roaring "Lion of Judah" - we encounter "Mary's Little Lamb " carrying the scars of battle! What we discover in this text is a key to understanding the entire book, because it tells us not only how the lamb conquers, but how we can conquer too - and it may not be what you think! Key Passage: Revelation 5:1-14

What's Your Name?
Our family name is “Christian.” It identifies us with Jesus the Christ and tells us how we should act and be. But do we take to heart what Peter and the other disciples had to face--that being Christian implies carrying a cross? In the discipline and training of following Christ and bearing our crosses, we become the person God names us to be.
