Sermons About Saints
We are...Patchwork Saints
We are a patchwork of saints, knit together by the Gospel of the cross of Jesus. We are NOT a perfect church that never quarrels, but our rips and tears are knit and mended by the grace of Jesus. If we learn to value this ordinary patchwork of saints more highly than we do the artificial display model, we just might find that we are becoming more mature together.

We are...Saints by Calling
If you believe in Jesus then you already are part of the church. To not be part of the church is contrary to Jesus' call to you, contrary to your call on Jesus in faith, and contrary to your vocation as saints to be actually holy. But that doesnt mean you necessarily need to be part of this church. Just don't make it about you and don't determine by personally selfish desires. Commit to the real people here with you and just stick with it until we reach heaven together.

Praying For All The Saints
How are Christians supposed to pray for each other? Oftentimes they will be heard praying for jobs, for houses to sell, and for quick recoveries from illnesses. Is this the essence of prayer? By reading Paul’s prayers and his admonitions regarding prayer, one might conclude otherwise, that it really has more to do with the battle that rages around us and with spiritual warfare than with anything else.

Paul is stressing that there is no such thing as excessive prayer. Paul understood that to be at one with Christ was to be at one with others who are at one with Christ.

A Healthy Church...Has Leaders and Followers
Can organization be a mark of church health? The Bible makes it clear it has to be. God ordains the roles and duties of elders, deacons, and members, and how they should relate to one another in order to accomplish his purposes in the world.

Gifts
We admit it. We have an agenda: we want you to join the church. All believers in Jesus in every time and place are members of the universal church, but committing to a local church is a vital part of the spiritual life for every Christ-follower. In our teaching series, CHURCH 101, we are taking several weeks to describe the foundational commitments of church membership. Our members are those who have accepted the mission of helping others become passionate followers of Jesus through the ministry and community of this church. Over the next few weeks, we will discuss what that means as we explore practically how we can live for Jesus as a part of His church.
