John 1:1-14 - Deliverance
People are often eager to be rescued from their frustrating circumstances. The first-century Jews were longing for someone to rise up and deliver the land from Roman occupation. John kicks off his Gospel by introducing us to Jesus Christ, the eternal God come down to earth as a human being on a rescue mission to save us from our sins and reconcile us to the Father.
