Christ: The Mediator of All Things
We are going to take two weeks to look at John 1:3-5. In this part of the prologue of John we find two very important areas over which Christ is the mediator. 1. Christ is the mediator of all creation. 2. Christ is the mediator of all life including eternal life.

We Study to Assist the Working of God - Part 1
Please note this is a two part sermon... Paul brought a great deal of comfort to the Christians in Thessalonica with this letter. Yet one way in which comfort was brought to the Thessalonians (their lives proved it, as did their suffering) should startle us in America. We don't suffer for being Christians here (outside of extremely isolated instances). What has the church throughout the history of the world endured? What do many endure today? We ignore the plight of our brothers and sisters in Christ to the detriment of the Kingdom.

Riches to rags, rags to riches
In the film "Saving Private Ryan", James Ryan feels that he has to earn the salvation that has just cost the lives of his saviours. We might feel that such sacrifice demands a response, but when God sent His son to be our saviour He didn't demand that we earn that salvation; He just asks that we accept it. This is Grace. Jesus travelled from the 'riches' of his heavenly kingdom to the 'rags' of mortal life on earth, in order that we can travel in the opposite direction.

The Exorcist
It is a good thing to be “salted with fire” – to feel the heat of hell enough to want living water. And the salt of the Holy Spirit that casts evil out of us, remains in us to keep us clean, pure and holy, even when we find ourselves in the presence of the power of Evil.

Salvation and the Law
Walking up to someone and saying as Jesus did, "Repent or perish" seems a bit harsh or hard. But once we understand the Law, it completely changes our perspective on the responsiblility of evangelism believers carry.
