Hungry for the Holy Spirit
The Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to fill believers is a perfect example of the fact that we have to hunger and thirst for the things of God if we are going to experience them. The disciples gathered every day for at least 30 days to pray and wait for the Holy Spirit. They were doing what Jesus told them to do. If we are going to receive all that God has for us, we are going to have to be hungry enough to do what the Bible says to do.

What are you hungry for
Have you ever had a craving for something, and no matter how much other stuff you eat, if it’s not what you were craving, it you will not be satisfied until you get what you were craving. Jesus said that we were supposed to hunger and thirst, or crave, after the things of God. A natural hunger will motivate you to do something. If we are truly hungering and thirsting for the things of God, we are willing to do something about it.
