Sermons About Scriptures
Act(s) XVII - Scene I, II
In Acts 17 we see Paul addressing two groups of people with the Scriptures; the Jews and Greeks at Thessalonica and those at Berea. Therefore this study deals almost exclusively with the value and importance of our adhering to the standard of Scripture and it identifies some of the value of the Scripture to those who are disciples of Christ. Find out what the exhale of God is in the Bible and what nautical term identifies God's intention for followers of Christ.

Why We Believe What We Believe About the Holy Spirit
Perhaps there is no greater mystery among Christians than the mystery of the Holy Spirit. I say mystery, not because God hasn’t revealed about the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures are very clear as to the Spirit’s personality, his purpose, and his presence in our lives.

Partying that Provokes
The reason we struggle so mightily with joy and celebration is because we have forgotten. We have forgotten what God is like. We have forgotten how good He is. We have forgotten how merciful He is. We have forgotten how He’s rescued us. We have forgotten that He is a God of great joy. We have forgotten that He loves to be with us. We have forgotten that we are grafted into this family: we are children of Abraham because we believe in Christ and we are to pick up His same heart of celebration and rejoicing.

Gospel of John: Equality with God
After Jesus heals the invalid (paralytic) at the Pool of Bethesda, he is confronted by religious leaders of the day and questioned. During that questing Jesus makes the clear case that He is the Son of God and equal with God.
