The Weakest Link
The Weakest Link Acts 16 The Call to Macedonia When the Son of Man comes will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8 ‘We say we are searching. That is a great thing – to search for God and truth. Typically, however we are seeking Him sometimes, occasionally, when it occurs to us, or for a deep moment or two, - like an encounter with death, or shocking injustice or personal loss - but then the moment passes and it is gone. The search is gone. It is unwise and dishonorable to call such a haphazard process a search.’ Jacob Needleman ‘Why Can’t We Be Good?’ 1. REAL Life
"Why do you look for the living among the dead?" The angels at the tomb of Jesus ask this question of the women who expect to see the body of Jesus, but, to their surprise, he has risen from the dead. We ourselves are searching. We search for meaning in life, putting our hope in achievement, possessions and relationships, but all is dead compared to the meaning found in Jesus Christ.
