You can’t help but hear a dinner bell. Bells ring with such a pure tone they pierce through other sounds like a knife. When our hearts ring with a purity that is without complication and compromise our lives cut through guilt and shame as if they don’t exist. When that is the case, we don’t have to go looking for happiness, it finds us.

When we mourn for the same things that break God’s heart and crave for the things for which God hungers and thirsts, happiness is around the corner. God’s plan to satisfy His holy yearnings is the very plan that brings satisfaction, comfort and happiness to you and me.
