Steak Does Not Fit in a Bottle
Baby Christians can't handle the "meatier" things of the Word of God. In a ministry that sees many lost people come to Christ, we must help them grow and mature in their faith one step at a time. We can't expect a toddler Christian to swallow steak in a bottle. Are you thankful that God allows you has a Christian to have fun? A Christian is person of joy. Indeed, a gloomy, depressed Christian is a contradiction of terms. Christ's work in our lives gives us every reason to be filled with joy in our hearts. We should also have joy as we enter God's house to worship, and joy as we go through the storms of life. Nothing is Impossible for Jesus
You can probably think of times in your life when you were desperate. Something pushed you to the point that you were willing to do just about anything to get help, find a solution, or change the circumstances that were causing you pain. Desperation creates action. Our text today contains great hope for desperate people. Matthew 9:18-34 shows us four miracles characterized by desperate faith, and we learn that nothing is impossible for Jesus.
