Gifted to Serve
For more on Vox Church, go to http://www.voxchurch.org. In John 13:3, it says that Jesus knew "that the Father had given all things into his hands." It is in this moment that Jesus reveals his true nature: a servant. Then he tells his disciples in v 14 "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet." Part of conforming to the image of Christ is becoming a servant of all. By serving, we find our identity more and more because it is how we were created to be. Moreover, we find healing and power for the journey ahead.
