Keep Watch - A Deacon Ordination Charge
On his way home from Philippi to Jerusalem, Paul stopped off at Miletus (Mē-lā-tus) to visit with the Ephesian elders (Acts 20:1-17). Paul’s time of leading the church at Ephesus had come to an end. As he prepared to pass that responsibility on to others, he gives these words of advice: “Take heed (Keep Watch) therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

The Impact of a Servant's Heart
Love must be the foundation of anything we do as a servant and glory to God must be the goal. Humility must be the attitude we demonstrate and others must be the target of our service.

Heed The Call
God calls us to be Saved, God Calls us to be Sanctified, God Calls us to Service, (and when we finish the work God has planned for us) God will call us Home!

What Belongs to God (I Samuel 1 21-28) 11-15-09
Hannah's faithfulness to her vow to give her only son to God is a powerful reminder that because God gave His only Son, everything we have and are belongs to God. Therefore we are also called to give back everything to God for His glory.
