We Are Soma: Gospel People
Christianity is actually very simple, consisting of one movement: Come to Jesus. Not only is it that simple to start as a Christian, it is also that simple to continue as a Christian. Come to Jesus, and then keep on doing that! As we do, God does his work of shaping us into the people he wants us to be. In this sermon, we look at how coming to Jesus shapes us into God's Family, on God's Mission, as God's Servants. We call this shaping "missional community."
Happy Birthday Soma
Peter talks about how in the bible we are called to remember the things that God has done for us, in the same way we are able to, as a church, remember what God has been doing for us over the past three years.

Faith That Works: Maturing Faith & Partiality (James 2:1-13)
Believers must hear the gospel well and turn it into actions. The church James was speaking to was acting contrarily to equality found in Christ but now they must show mercy because they been given mercy.
We Are Soma: Gospel Purpose
The great preacher C. H. Spurgeon once said, "I will not believe you have tasted the honey of the gospel if you can eat it all by yourself." God's purpose in rescuing people, drawing them to himself, and pouring out his grace and mercy on them through Jesus is that those people would put his magnificence on display. God wants us to so deeply taste of his goodness that we can't help but proclaim his goodness in all of life. In the gospel, God rescues sinners from sin and self and restores them to himself so that they'll declare his praises!
