The Offense of Jesus
Many people share the belief that Jesus Christ--at the very least--was a good teacher, a kind and loving man, and a worthy example of how to live. So, why is Jesus so offensive to so many? In other words, what is the offense? In this sermon, we explore the offensive nature of Jesus Christ to those He came to save.

Harambee Church is now Soma - Renton
Soma is made of Missional Communities--small groups of people being the church in their neighborhoods. Several Missional Communities under the oversight of local elders are called an Expression of Soma. Recently, through the Spirit's leading, the Elders of Harambee Church decided to join with Soma as an Expression of Soma Communities, uniquely expressing what it means to be the church in and around Renton. We are continuing to bring the message and the ministry of reconciliation in the gospel to the cities in the Renton area.

Equipped for Mission
The book of Acts is all about Jesus. Though it is a book narrating the history of the early church, it is nonetheless all about Jesus. Through the Church, Jesus continued and continues His mission of reconciling the world back to God. In this sermon, we look at the first 11 verses of Acts to see how Jesus equips His people for His mission.

Celebration According to the Gospel
We have been talking about this idea of being a “City within a City†and living our lives in such a way as to show our neighbors, friends, co-workers God’s love, what God is like and what it would look like for them to follow Jesus and live their lives in God’s ways here in this culture.
