Don't dabble in evil
Over the next few weeks we are going to see what the Bible tells us what we are NOT to do; not to slip away, not to be a hypocrite, not to live foolishly. Tonight – NOT to dabble in evil. How seriously do we take evil? What about evil spirits? How do you feel about exorcism? Our world is full of astrology, lay-lines, UFO’s, tarot cards, horoscopes, psychic fares. Some people run their lives according to the way Lady Luck falls. GK Chesterton once brilliantly remarked that if people give up believing in God, they won’t believe in nothing, they will believe anything and everything. And this idea of believing in magic, chance happenings and the spirits is nothing new. 1st C. Ephesus was full of it.
