Adulthood
Spiritual growth. What is it? To some it is a nebulous, mysterious concept. To others it is an unattainable, unreachable thing reserved for the special, elite few. Still others erroneously believe that they have a corner on the spiritual growth market, that they have arrived, that they have got it all together. There is a lot of confusion and misconceptions going on around the topic of this series. One theme that will run throughout “Arrested Development” is that most of us have the tendency to place ourselves in stages of spiritual growth in which we actually aren’t. We both overrate and overestimate ourselves along the spiritual growth continuum. While some of us think that we are babies are, in reality, more mature than we think, others of us who think that we are really mature are maybe more of an adolescent or a child.
