Sermons About Spiritual-warfare
Dressed for Battle
In the final installment of the mini series on The Believer's Warfare we took a close look at the classic passage on the subject, Ephesians 6:10-18. Here I have taken a more practical approach than you have probably heard in the past. Building on the foundation of both the previous messages dealing with our enemy and God's Weapons for our Warfare and also the text of the Book of Ephesians that leads up to this passage we will get a real sense of what is actually going on here. How would you like to know whether you possess this armor and how to know for sure that you are able to use it as God has intended? Give it a listen and let me know if this does not clear up some fuzziness that you may have had regarding this subject.

The point of our passage is that though it will not be easy to live the Christian life God has made available to use all the resources that we need to defeat the enemy's attempts.

Spiritual Warfare
Through the book of Ephesians Paul has continually described the blessings of those who are "in Christ". In spite of all of the truths you need to know that it will not be easy. We have an enemy working to thwart God's purposes in our lives and Paul describes this struggle as warfare.

Nehemiah (#7): Deceptive Distractions
After handling an internal struggle in the last chapter, our main man Nehemiah must once again battle against an external enemy bent on his destruction. This time though, their tactics have changed. Instead of obvious and outright opposition, they resort to deception and try to trick Nehemiah into diverting his attention. As we study Nehemiah 6, there is much to learn from Nehemiah's wisdom and how he handled the deceptive distractions to his mission.
