Sermons About Spiritual
Tested by Fire
Often the greatest times of spiritual growth, come as the result of suffering and pain. God's greatest gifts to us, come in the form of "subtractions" instead of "additions". We grow on the valley floor ... suffering drives us deep. The authentic faith - is one that has been tested by fire, and proven powerful and rich. IN our day of "easy-believism" when we expect only good from the hand of God, perhaps the greatest challenge to our faith and to our spiritual maturity is when the storms of life begin to howl. Finding Jesus in the midst of the storm and being able to praise Him despite our pain is one of the critical steps on the journey toward Spiritual Maturity. We might not at first consider these trials as "gifts" but these "severe gifts" may be the catalyst for incredible spiritual growth if we will lean into God's purpose in them. Key Passages: Job 2:10 and Isaiah 48:10

A Well-Oiled Ministry Machine
The most powerful engines in the world are useless without the lubricating effect of high-quality oils, grease, or synthetic polymers. They would literally burn themselves up as the internal friction of the engine heated the motor to dangerous temperatures, and the engine seizes -- so too with the engine of ministry. Key Passage: 1 Peter 4:10

The Marks of Spiritual Maturity
Part 8 "The Mark Of Spiritual Maturity" Romans 1:14-16 Mark #1 I am concerned about the people of the world. My concern: * Must be ever-present. * Can't be for the elite alone. * Isn't based on education. * Must be for all ethnic groups. Mark #2 I am committed to proclaim the gospel to the world. My commitment involves: * Knowing the part I play. * Knowing the place I am to serve. * Knowing the message I am to preach. Mark #3 I am confident in what the gospel has promised. The gospel promises to: * Be powerful. * Accomplish God's purposes. * To be given plentifully. * According to God's plan.

Soul Prosperity
We need to live in God’s righteousness, peace and joy on the inside all the time, not just cry out to God for it when we are in a crisis. Our soul is prospering when we are walking in step with Holy Spirit.

Fatal Spiritual Mistakes
Using visual aids to teach is not a new technique. In fact, Jesus often taught spiritual truth by using visual aids. In this text Jesus uses bread to teach that just as people eat bread to survive physically, they must have Him to survive spiritually. Unfortunately, the people to whom Jesus spoke did not seem to understand. This resulted in three tragic mistakes that those of us who are alive today must not repeat.
